Turn a Google Maps search into a contact list

Search the way you already do. The extension reads every listing on the results page and files it in your account — including the email addresses Google Maps never shows.

What a Google Maps scraper actually does

Google Maps is the most complete directory of local businesses that exists. Search “pharmacies in Faisalabad” and you get hundreds of results, each with a name, phone number, address, category, rating and often a website. All of it is public. The problem is the format: you can read it, but you cannot use it. Copying two hundred businesses into a spreadsheet by hand takes an afternoon, and you will make mistakes doing it.

The InnoReach extension automates exactly that copying. It runs inside your own Chrome browser, on the same results page you were already looking at. You choose a location and a business type, press extract, and it works down the list opening each business in turn and reading the details panel. Every business it reads is saved to your InnoReach account, where you can filter, export or start calling.

It does not log into Google, does not touch your Google account, and does not use any private API. There is no account to be banned, because there is no login involved.

The email problem, and how it is solved

Google Maps deliberately does not publish email addresses. For outbound sales that is a serious gap — a phone number is worth more, but an email lets you send a proposal, a price list or a portfolio.

So where a listing links to a website, the extension visits that site and its contact page, and looks for a published address. This is the same thing a person would do by hand, done in a fraction of a second per business. If a business has no website, or hides its address behind a contact form, no email is found — and we would rather tell you that plainly than promise a hit rate we cannot deliver.

How it runs

Four steps, then it works on its own

  1. 1

    Pick where and what

Country, state and city, then the business type — “dental clinics”, “pesticide dealers”, whatever you sell to. The city box takes suggestions but accepts anything you type, because no city dataset covers every tehsil and small town. If you can name it, Google Maps can search it.

  2. 2

It opens Maps and works down the list

A Maps tab opens on your search. The extension scrolls the results panel, opens each business in turn, and reads the details — name, phone, website, address, category, rating and review count. You can leave the tab alone and do something else; progress is shown in the popup as it goes.

  3. 3

Emails are found on the business website

Where a listing has a website, the extension checks it and its contact page for a published address. That is the part Maps cannot give you, and it is what turns a call list into something you can also email.

  4. 4

    Everything lands in your account

Leads sync to your dashboard as they are found, already categorised and deduplicated, so you can close the tab and pick up on your phone. Export a CSV whenever you like, or start calling straight from the list.

Built carefully

The details that decide whether a list is usable

Most scrapers hand you a file full of repeats and gaps, and you only find out after you have paid. These are the specific problems we hit while building this, and how each one is handled.

No listing counted twice

Businesses are identified by their Google place ID, not the page URL. A Maps URL embeds the map centre and zoom, so it changes every time the view moves — fingerprinting the URL meant the same shop was saved, and charged for, several times.

Nothing skipped

The extension waits until the open panel actually matches the listing it clicked before reading it. Without that check it read the previous business again and silently skipped the current one.

Numbers in dialable form

A local number like 0302 713 8708 is stored as +923027138708, so a tap dials correctly from a laptop and WhatsApp links resolve instead of landing on an error page.

Your credits, protected

Duplicates are detected on the server before a credit is spent, so a re-run of last month's search costs only what is genuinely new.

Live licence checking

If your token is regenerated or revoked, the extension notices within seconds and asks for the new one, rather than failing quietly halfway through a run.

Requirements

What you need to run it

RequirementDetail
BrowserGoogle Chrome, or any Chromium browser — Edge, Brave, Opera
Operating systemWindows, macOS or Linux. Anywhere Chrome runs
Google accountNot needed. The extension never logs in
InnoReach accountYes — free to create, with trial credits
InstallationLoad the unpacked ZIP in developer mode; the guide covers each step
Permissions requestedStorage, tabs and downloads only

Why developer mode? The extension is currently distributed directly rather than through the Chrome Web Store, so Chrome shows a notice about developer mode at startup. It is harmless and the extension works identically. A Web Store listing is planned; the direct download will keep working either way.
